Ras said that his beliefs were in line with the other participants at the rally that people should fight against corruption.

He said that he had joined the rally at 9 a.m. starting outside the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building.

Ras said he also planned to perform some songs at the rally.

“It’s up to the people (how many songs) should I sing,” he said.

Ras said that he wants to also speak out against corruption and as a musician he could always deliver social messages through his songs.

“And in some other ways, like the one I am doing now (joining the rally),” he said.

Ras said he had donated his time to attend and perform at the rally because he believed in the people’s fight against corruption.

“No, I am not paid at all, no money. I am voluntarily here.”

Ras said that he noticed the public’s awareness of corruption was high at the moment and that people were demanding greater government transparency.
